All veterinary medicinal products (Vaccines, Pharmaceuticals) are authorised by the HPRA or the VMD. We also import veterinary medicinal products under Special Import Licences granted by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) as provided under Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council. We also stock Targeted Nutritionals and Biosecurity Products.

AHD provides a unique integrated service to the veterinary profession offering technical services, back up and adverse drug reaction investigation. Our veterinary experts are available for technical advice, medicines guidance, herd health issues, and sourcing of needed veterinary products

Based on the philosophy that prevention is better than cure, AHD views animal health as an overall herd/flock issue. Accordingly, we offer not just veterinary vaccines and pharmaceuticals but also veterinary medicines which are targeted toward individual problems. We also advise on herd health issues and record keeping.

Healthy animals lead to healthy food. Appropriate use of vaccines, and trace elements will not only prevent outbreaks of disease, but will also reduce the need for antibiotic intervention, thus guaranteeing residue free products which are also free from bacterial contamination.
